A girl from Hemja, Pokhara, Bindu Pariyar, was taken to the US to work as a strip dancer by an US citizen. The guy, Tom Sewell, had known Bindu since her childhood and he waited till she became an adult to marry and take her to the USA. In various photos and videos released by Tom, he had trained Bindu to become strip dancer so that he can live in her income.
When Bindu got tired of Tom and ran away with a boyfriend, Tom released intimate photos and videos of Bindu to defame her. A leading weekly ‘Saptahik’ also published a cover story on the strip dancer.
If the life of Bindu is investigated, a lot of dark side of her relationship with the US citizen and his friends could be revealed. At times, Bindu has told that Tom and his friends have abusing the children in Nepal. Although the claim isn’t baseless, authenticity of the claim is not easy to prove.

This week Nepali movie directed by popular choreographer Gobind Rai, ‘Nagbeli’ is going to release in theater. The movie produced by Govind Rai’s god-sister, UK resident Romiyan Limbu, features Harshika Shrestha, Surabhi Jain, Dayahang Rai, Vicky Malla, Nir Shah, Yashraj Garach etc. in main roles. The premier show of the movie was held on Thursday in Kumari theater among selected film artists, film unit and journalists. The movie made on the story of youth of current time covers various aspects of the life of youth including struggle, political strength, trust and abduction.25-years-old producer Romiyan had been living in the UK for a decade. She had also acted in a few video films in the past. She is currently in Nepal to promote the movie.

College girl allegedly raped while she was returning home
An 18-year-old girl was allegedly r@ped after being dragged to an isolated area by an unidentified man in Dombivli area of Thane district on the outskirts of Mumbai. A case of r@pe has been registered at the Manpada Police Station. She was released after being threatened by the accused. She went home and told her parents about the incident following which they approached the police to lodge a complaint.
Polices sources say that a list of suspects has been drawn based on the description of the accused provided by the girl. Some of the suspects have been questioned, however, no arrests have been made in the case so far.
The police suspect that the accused could be someone who had been keeping track of her. They are also asking information from locals on any unidentified person they might have noticed in the area.
